CATEGORY-FIRST: FOLD-FLAT SEAT: Kawasaki’s Fold-Flat Seat, a first for the category*, lets you conveniently convert the rear seat into a 150-lb capacity flat cargo area—adding adaptability and convenience for everyday tasks. With slots for KQR™ mounts in the cargo area, you can add a variety of genuine accessories with ease. When not in use, the KQR mounts can be conveniently stored in the armrests. ADVANCED CHASSIS DESIGN: Built on Kawasaki’s engineering excellence, the NAV® 4e features a high-quality steel ladder frame and front & rear suspension delivering a smooth and comfortable ride quality around the neighborhood. A 2-in hitch receiver at the rear provides up to 500 lbs of towing capacity and allows the use of various accessories.

TWO TYPES OF BATTERIES: The NAV® 4e offers two types of batteries—lead-acid and lithium-ion. The latter, only available on NAV® 4e LE and Limited models, offers superior range of up to 40 miles and is ideal for carrying passengers on longer trips. The standard NAV® 4e model with lead-acid batteries has a range of up to 17.5 miles. Both can be easily charged via a charging socket on the dash panel under the steering wheel. Simply plug the charger into a standard household electrical outlet, and you’re good to go. Charging time on the NAV® 4e can take up to 10 hours (0-100%) and 11 hours on the NAV® 4e LE and Limited models. Charging times may vary. Thanks to the regenerative system, every time you release the accelerator pedal the energy of deceleration is recycled back into the battery— extending your cruising range (as the batteries approach full charge, the regenerative function gradually tapers off).
